November Food Pantry & Turkey Drive (11/21/2026)

This Thanksgiving season, Thursday Network is spreading warmth through food! As many families across the DC area continue to face food insecurity, we are committed to helping ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious meals this holiday season. In addition to our regular grocery and household essentials distributions, we will be delivering turkeys and Thanksgiving meal items to families in need. Thanks to the continued generosity of Giant Food, Thursday Network has once again received a donation of 100 turkeys! A significant portion of this donation will support our community partner, East of the River Mutual Aid, in providing Thanksgiving meals to local families.

We are seeking 10 volunteers to help transport and unload turkeys from GWUL to our designated delivery sites. Volunteers with SUVs or larger vehicles are especially encouraged to participate, but all vehicles and helping hands are welcome! Join us in spreading warmth, generosity, and gratitude this Thanksgiving season. Your support will help make the holiday brighter for families across our community!
