Clear your calendar - It's going down! Sports Jam kicks off on June 23rd, and you're invited to take part in the festivities. Turkey Thicket Field (1100 Michigan Ave NE, Washington, DC 20017) is our meeting spot for a day of fun and excitement. Come one, come all, bring your team, or join a team. Just come with your A game.  This is going to be epic!

Thursday network  is culminating this year's Young Blacks Give Back (YBGB) month with a fun-filled day of activities and games.  The primary purpose of Sports Jam is to network with other young professionals in the DC metro area, raise money to support our scholarship fund, and promote a healthy lifestyle.  

-Throughout the day, teams will compete in several games such as tug-of-war, 3-legged race, water balloon toss, kickball,  flag football, potato sac races, and other relay races.

 

-- Each team will consist of 5 people (each team MUST include 2 women).

-- There will be a registration fee of $20 per person or $100 per team.

-- You can sign up and organize your own team or sign up individually and be assigned to a team the day of the event. 

- Each team must choose a team name that reflects Black Panther. 

Tickets are $20 for pre-registration; $35 on the day of the event. All proceeds go towards Thursday Network's "I Empower" Scholarship fund!
