The Thursday Network offers four distinct membership types, open to professionals in the Greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area. This includes general, student, alumni, and junior membership. You may learn more about our membership classifications on this page and by reading the membership section found in Article II, Section 6 of the TN Bylaws.
General Membership is designed for young professionals ages 21 to 40. Our multi-faceted, growing community represents a wide range of industries and professions across the Greater Washington, DC area. This membership is only for individuals 21-40 years of age.
Student Membership applicants must submit a screenshot of current class schedule or an unofficial transcript to the Membership Chair at membership@thursdaynetwork.org. DO NOT SUBMIT PAYMENT until your application has been reviewed and approved. This Membership is open to individuals 18 - 40 years of age who are currently attending an official college, university, or other post-secondary educational institution either on a full-time or part-time status. Student members are ineligible to serve on the Executive Leadership Council and the GWUL Advisory Board.
Alumni Membership is available to individuals ages 41 to 45 who are also members of our auxiliary, The GUILD. Membership in the Guild is required to maintain Alumni Membership in TN. This membership provides continued access to Thursday Network events and networking opportunities. However, Alumni Members are not eligible to serve in TN positions on the Executive Leadership Council and the GWUL Advisory Board.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
Junior Membership is available to young professionals ages 18-20. Junior members may participate in all Thursday Network events and volunteer opportunities, with the exception of events where alcohol is present. In addition, junior members are ineligible to serve on the Executive Leadership Council and the GWUL Advisory Board.
