N Street Village empowers homeless and low-income women in Washington, D.C. to claim their highest quality of life by offering a broad spectrum of services, housing, and advocacy in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. They help women achieve stability and make meaningful gains in their housing, income, employment, mental health, physical health, and addiction recovery.

They serve nearly 2,000 homeless and low-income women each year. In their Bethany day center they serve roughly 80 women per day.The center usually runs low on volunteers as well as supplies during the summer months so Thursday Network aims to support them through a snack drive which supplies at least one Bethany day center afternoon’s with healthy snacks!

Our Snack Packing Session will take place on 7/27 at Greater Washington Urban League beginning at 10 AM and should last about an hour! We’ll place at least 3 different types of snacks in each bag, one salty, one sweet, and one fruit cup. We’ll also drop in a note of encouragement for the recipient.

The packed snack bags will be delivered to N Street VIllage on Monday July 29th.
