Join Thursday Network for a civic engagement discussion about the Census, Elections, and Hyperlocal Advocacy during our first SPARK Talk of 2020.

SPARK (Short, Provocative, Action-oriented, Realistic, and Knowledgeable) Talks are an opportunity to present bold ideas to a wide audience. We put forth change-makers who are using their work and passion to make our communities and our country better. For this SPARK Talk, we’ll hear from:

  • Samantha Davis: The Black Swan Academy

  • Kimberly Corbin: The Greater Washington Urban League

  • Darin Johnson: Howard University Law School

  • Delonte Wilkins: Link Up

With each ten-minute presentation from a fellow change-maker, a new way of thinking or a fresh approach is shared. What they say could ignite your curiosity  and flip the switch on a new mindset that leads you to meet your mission — better and more effectively.

If you can’t seem to put your finger on the right response to a challenge confronting your community, a Spark Talk just might show you the light.
