Young Blacks Give Back Month: Elder Fellowship & Food Delivery

Let’s take time to check in and chat with our senior citizens during this time while sending them some delicious pizza. Many senior citizen homes are under strict lockdowns where residents can not convene in the community rooms, receive visitation or leave their residence unless it's an emergency. Please sign up to make a seniors day at Victory Heights Senior Living as they will truly appreciate the conversation and an appetizing meal!

• Chat: If you choose to sign up to chat with a senior, you will receive an email after registration that provides you with the name/telephone number of the Victory Heights resident along with a list of topics to discuss.

• Pizza: To donate a personal pizza, please use the signup genius (click here) to choose the type of pizza to donate.To pay, please go to https://thursdaynetwork.org/Donate and select Victory Heights Pizza. We will be delivering personal pizzas to residents at Victory Heights Senior Apartments on Friday, May 22nd at 6:30pm. We will order from Ledos Pizza on 1400 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20010, only a block away. We also need a few volunteers to deliver the pizza so please sign up online or WA if interested.
