Join us as we discuss the importance of Black women’s health and especially maternal health. Black women in the United States experience unacceptably poor maternal health outcomes, including disproportionately high rates of death related to pregnancy or childbirth. Get an update directly from our policy leaders on what they are doing to improve the health outcomes of black women and black mothers. Come learn about ways you can better advocate for family, friends and yourself when navigating the healthcare system. Our dynamic panel of healthcare professionals, advocates and parents will offer advice on how to best interact with medical professionals.
