From Moechella to Don’tMuteDC, culture has been a pivotal part of the DMV’s civic engagement history. Be it expressed through music, the arts, food, or graffiti, there is never a shortage of expression about issues that matter to the community. Join TN Civic Engagement Committee for a Live Discussion on all things Civics & Culture at 7:00pm on June 16th at the Silver Spring Civic Building. We’ll have a discussion on how culture plays a major role in civic engagement and how we can continue to use culture to amplify and address social issues within our community. The Civic Engagement Committee is passionate about exploring avenues of creative advocacy and civic education, so we're super excited to have you and look forward to you being our guestThis is a conversation that you don’t want to miss!
