Our May General Body Meeting will focus on the intersection of race and democracy. We will bring together experts and thought leaders to diagnose the pressing issues we face and engage in conversation about legislative, executive, and community- based solutions to fortify our democracy. We will also discuss how to organize in our communities against attempts to erase African-American history and hold government actors and state legislatures accountable for suppressing our fundamental freedoms. Our moderator will be Vince Evans (Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus).

We will have a virtual option for the GBM for those unable to attend in person on Zoom
