Join Thursday Network as we support the Swaliga Foundation’s #STEAMtheBlock™ Party.

The Swaliga Foundation was founded in 2012 with the mission of empowering young people to find their true passion. The #STEAMtheBlock™ Party is a STEAM education & entertainment event that provides a platform for youth to display and explore their creative talents. Participants will receive trauma-informed engagement and connect with local community and culture through STEAM workshops, panel discussions, culinary experiences, live performances and other fun activities.

Volunteers are needed to support the event set up (day prior and day of), during the event, and to break down. More information regarding what to expect and attire will be shared before the event. Specific roles will be provided during the day of service.

This opportunity is ideal for those with an interest in youth development, education, and/or STEAM.

The mission of TN is to provide a forum for young adults, ages 21 – 40, to focus their energies on community service, professional development, and political involvement.
