Join us as we kick off the 2024-2025 Thursday Network term with our October General Body Meeting! We'll begin by introducing our new Leadership Team, who will share their vision for the year and how you can get involved with our committees. Next, we'll hear from experts and leaders on the local and national implications of the upcoming election and its impact on our community. If you have specific questions for our speakers, feel free to submit them in advance to ppd@thursdaynetwork.org. We can’t wait to see you for this illuminating and informative discussion.

Members will also vote on a proposed bylaw amendment concerning which committees will plan our signature event, the National Day of Empowerment.

Networking and refreshments will begin at 6:30 PM, followed by the program at 7:00 PM. Afterward, join us for a post-GBM Votes & Vibes social nearby. We also invite you to bring canned goods or non-perishable food items to support Thursday Network’s Food Pantry.

Founded in 1992, Thursday Network is comprised of over 200 young professionals committed to serving the Washington Metropolitan area through community programs and partnership that address the Empowerment Goals of the National Urban League. The mission of TN is to provide a forum for young adults, ages 21 – 40, to focus their energies on community service, professional development, and political involvement.
