Join Thursday Network for our final Books & Brunch of the term on Saturday, August 9, as we dive into The Let Them Theory by life coach and author Mel Robbins (suggested by multiple people via our initial survey!). This read is a motivational guide that encourages readers to stop trying to control others and instead reclaim their peace by simply letting people do what they want—“let them”—so you can focus on your own growth and happiness. Whether you’ve read the book cover to cover or just want to join a thoughtful conversation, this is a safe space to connect, reflect, and grow. After our book talk at GWUL HQ, we’ll head over to Buddy’s for brunch (10-minute walk).

This will be the first in a series of physical and mental wellness activities as we participate in NULYP’s month of wellness in August.

We encourage interested attendees to utilize any resource that works for them to access the reading material, such as buying locally via Black-owned booksellers like Mahogany or Solid State Books, renting for free via the Libby app or from your local library, or listening to the audio version via apps like Audible or Spotify Premium.
