Join Thursday Network in recognizing National Voter Registration Day, a nonpartisan civic holiday, and National Voter Registration Week of Action, encouraging individuals to check their voter registration status and/or sign up to vote. Celebrated each September since 2012, National Voter Registration Day encourages coordinated field, digital, and media action focused on growing our shared democracy. As a community partner,  in partnership with National Voter Registration Day, Thursday Network is encouraging  the following actions:

  1. Share and re-share  information about National Voter Registration via Thursday Network social media. Thursday Network Members and community members are encouraged to re-share via their platforms.

  2. Promote National Voter Registration in communal spaces, such as your office or apartment complex by sharing signage and/or wearing stickers.

  3. Contact at least two people to check their voter registration status and/or sign up to register to vote by visiting https://nationalvoterregistrationday.org/register-to-vote/

  4. Using  #VoteReady as the official hashtag to encourage others to check their voter registration status and/or sign up to vote!

Tuesday, September 16th - Thursday Network members are invited to attend Nationals Baseball Game with DC Board of Elections (DCBOE) on National Voter Registration Day to learn about resources that are available to encourage voter engagement.
