For Us, By Us: Black History Month Book Drive

As February unfolds, Thursday Network is thrilled to launch our 10th Annual For Us, By Us: Black History Month Book Drive—an initiative aimed at providing young people throughout greater Washington, Montgomery County, and Prince George’s area withnew books, authored by and featuring people of color, that reflect the richness of our history, culture, creativity, and achievements. Books collected during this year’s drive will be donated to Friendship Armstrong Public Charter School, located in Washington, DC. Every book has the potential to deepen a student’s love of reading and writing.

Please help us reach our goal of donating at least 450 books this year. We believe in the power of representation, and with your support, we can make a lasting impact. Here's how you can contribute:
