Looking for a fun way to give back to your community? Want to spend time outside, get your hands dirty, and connect with nature?

Join Thursday Network as we volunteer at the Washington Youth Garden on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

We will be partnering with Friends of the National Arboretum (FONA) to support their youth garden program. Volunteers will assist with hands-on gardening tasks like planting, weeding, mulching, and pest control. No experience is needed, just bring your energy and a willingness to work outdoors.

After two hours of garden work, we will enjoy a short tour to learn about the garden’s impact on youth education and sustainable food systems. You may also get to sample fresh produce grown on-site.

This is a rain or shine event unless there is extreme weather.

Space is limited to up to 25 volunteers, so please RSVP early. Come out, serve, and grow with us!
