YP Fit: Individual "YP" Hard Challenge (Advanced)

YP Fit is an initiative that encourages healthy living for NULYP members and the communities we service. Our approach to wellness is holistic with the goal of connecting the mind, body, and spirit. 

Dates of Individual YP Hard Challenge: Saturday, June 1, 2024 - Monday, July 1, 2024

The #YPFit YP Hard Individual Challenge is an opportunity for members throughout the country to develop mental toughness, discipline, and resilience through a set of daily tasks and habits. It requires unwavering commitment and dedication to complete successfully. Many participants who have completed a similar 75 Hard challenge have reported significant personal growth and positive changes in various aspects of their lives upon completing the challenge. The challenge lasts for 30 days and includes several key components:

● Eating Plan: Maintain a balanced and nutritious diet, but allow for occasional treat meals or indulgences (including alcohol) in moderation. The specific diet can vary based on individual preferences and goals, but it typically involves clean eating with an emphasis on whole foods like lean proteins, vegetables, fruits, and healthy fats.

● Workout: Exercise twice a day for at least 30 minutes each session, with one workout being outdoors regardless of weather conditions. The workouts can include any physical activity such as weightlifting, cardio, yoga, or sports.

● Water Intake: Drink at least 1 gallon (3.78 liters) of water per day to stay hydrated and support overall health and fitness goals.

● Reading: Read 10 pages of a non-fiction book every day. This habit promotes continuous learning, personal development, and mental stimulation.

● Progress Picture: Take a daily progress picture to track physical changes throughout the challenge. This helps participants stay accountable and motivated as they witness their transformation over time.

● Self-Reflection: Spend at least 10 minutes each day in quiet reflection or meditation.

This practice helps maintain mental clarity, focus, and mindfulness throughout the challenge.

YP Hard Challenge Frequently Asked Questions

How Is My Participation Tracked?

Each participant will be added to a YP Hard group for daily accountability. You should expect to check into the group each day with your progress towards completing the challenge. The YP Fit

Coordinators will monitor your progress on a separate spreadsheet.

How do you win?

There will not be “winners” of the YP Hard Challenge. Those who complete at least 80% of the challenge will be recognized as having completed the challenge.
