Please join Thursday Network in collaboration with the Maya Angelou Learning Center to assemble and deliver care packages. Volunteers will assist in creating packages that will consist of blankets, deodorants, feminine hygiene products (e.g., tampons and pads), floss, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpastes, soaps, and words of encouragement. This year’s goal is to deliver 2,000 packages to people in need throughout the Greater Washington Area. In addition to care packages, we will host various community service project stations that are family-friendly and will serve more than 2,400 recipients.
