Join Thursday Network as we partner with Keen Sports! KEEN Greater DC (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) is a volunteer-led nonprofit -- 501(c)(3) -- organization that provides one-to-one sports and recreational opportunities for children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities at no cost to their families or caregivers.

KEEN Greater DC's mission is to foster the self-esteem, confidence and talents of young people with profound disabilities through non-competitive programs allowing young people facing even the most significant challenges to meet their individual goals. KEEN also seeks to increase each young person’s ability to participate in a broader range of recreational activities and environments.

A Board of Directors comprised of parents, volunteers and members of the community directs KEEN Greater DC’s operations. KEEN’s recreational activities — which include basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, music, bowling, fitness and social activities — are provided free-of-charge to families.

During this activity, volunteers will be trained how to work with participants and interact with youth to participate in the Zumba session.

** ATTENTION** All volunteers MUST sign up through http://bit.ly/YBGBKeen in order to participate. Volunteers will need to use the above link twice. The first time is to register to become a KEEN volunteer. Once they register, they will automatically receive an email from info@keengreaterdc.org to finalize their registration. Then they need to click on the link above again to actually sign up for this particular event and event date. Once they do that, they will receive a confirmation and reminder emails with all the important details--time, date, location.
