Thursday Network, the Urban League Young Professionals of Greater Pittsburgh and the Urban League Young Professionals of Essex County New Jersey, invites you to join us for a virtual create-a-thon.

As COVID-19 began to spread, the seriousness of the crisis quickly became clear. As healthcare needs intensified, innovators around the world began ramping up efforts to develop vaccines and treatments. Simultaneously, new opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship increased. We've seen an increase in technology through virtual meeting platforms as well as an increase in the production of PPE. This all surrounds the STEAM field.

This virtual event is designed to inspire youth across the eastern region to learn about the importance of STEAM and use it in combination with social media tools to address issues that have grown for marginalized due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Founded in 1992, Thursday Network is comprised of over 200 young professionals committed to serving the Washington Metropolitan area through community programs and partnership that address the Empowerment Goals of the National Urban League. The mission of TN is to provide a forum for young adults, ages 21 – 40, to focus their energies on community service, professional development, and political involvement.
