Celebrate the season in style by donning your best "Winter 9’s" attire and joining Thursday Network on Thursday, December 14th for a festive holiday gathering with both our members and potential new additions to our community.
As part of the event, we're extending an invitation for everyone to take part in one or both of our Holiday Philanthropies. The first initiative involves a clothing drive, where we aim to collect coats for the unhoused and those in need, ensuring they have warm clothing as we enter the coldest months in the DMV. Please consider bringing a coat to donate and spreading the warmth this season.
The second initiative focuses on raising funds for the Greater Washington Urban League’s Utility Assistance Program. Many lower-income individuals in the DMV struggle to make ends meet during the holiday season, and our goal is to provide support by ensuring Christmas lights stay on and heaters keep them warm. We will accept donations for the Utility Assistance Program through Cash App and our website.
If you're unable to attend but would like to contribute, please consider making a donation at thursdaynetwork.org/donate. Select "General Programming" and specify "TN Winter Warmup 2023" in the comment section. Your generosity will make a meaningful impact this holiday season.
