Join Young, Gifted & Green in partnership with Thursday Network Greater Washington Urban League Young Professionals Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 1:30 PM-4:00PM at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library (401-E Conference Room) for our Climate Preparedness Training! 

This Climate Preparedness Training prepares DC residents for threats of climate disaster including but not limited to flooding, extreme weather, extreme heat (and cold–snow storms), etc. and ways to reduce lead exposure and hazards. This is an introductory session introducing community members to the concept of climate crisis resiliency and more long-term investment in additional skill-building and capacity-building surrounding emergency preparedness.
